Scenes from the first two weeks of August

A man excited and proud not to have to yank up his pants before he can get to work.  A crusader against butt cracks.
BUT for those of us who remember Brother Eldridge and his overalls, perhaps a damning moment.

Maitlan and Alex on their new super safe tramp in the backyard.  Note the bendable rods underneath the mat and the fact that there aren't any springs for them to whack their heads on.  They are now completely free to whack each other without interference from outside sources.

Billy and Brandon at their August 2 wedding in San Diego.

Dad in the amazingly lovely hayfield.  The solid green is the payoff for the work he and Wayne have put in upgrading the pivot sprinkler which now covers a wider area and works more efficiently.  Meaning, of course, more hay. The field has 80 water shares for the 80 acres planted.

Madden and Joselyn has a busy sleepover that apparently involved using each other as snacks.

Scenes from Utah County

This took 2 1/2 hours in line and $20 a plate to buy at our first trip to the fifty-nine year old
Payson Salmon Fry.
Started by the high priests then taken over by the city, it's put on as a fund raiser by the firemen.  There were over 5000 people there.  (At least they went through 4500 cole slaws and the guy said sometimes people take two.)  The red slab is the salmon.
